You can set up an account in one of the three big social media sites; MySpace, Facebook, or Twitter and then just do a simple search for your niche and find a lot of people who are also interested in the things you are interested in. These people could then be prospective customers or future business partners.
"Internet Marketing and blogging go hand in hand:
This is one of the best ways to get your face out there. It is easy and cheap if you use the right provider. Just do a search for free blog hosting and you will find many places that will host a free blog for you and also have easy set up.
Once you get a blog set up, you can cruise around the blog hosting sites and see other blogs in your niche. By commenting there, you will build your network of people and hopefully gain readers on your blog.
"Niche Networking:
This one is almost covered by the above two points but also covers a little more. Here I am talking about forums and newsgroups that are related to your niche. This will allow you to communicate and talk to people within your niche about subjects you are interested in and see if others are interested in the same sub-niches as you are.
