its 433 MHz RFID domino active tag which will, for the duration of its life, transmit a Radio Frequency (RF) signal at a pre-set time interval. The Domino Tag is generally used for asset tagging.

This high performance domino active tag, model 124010, transmits tag data including Customer Site Code (CSC), Tag ID, Tag Age Counter Value, Movement Alarm and Tamper Alarm status. It utilizes a collision avoidance algorithm which can be used to dispose the transmissions around the mean repetition interval. This active tag has certification under Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA).

The mounting and affixing of a Tag depends on the type of application. GAO RFID Asset Tracking's tags can be mounted on a variety of non-metallic items. The standard method is by VHB type double-sided adhesive tape. This active tag is powered by an internal lithium battery. The tag life is estimated at 5 years at a transmission time interval of approximately 1.5 seconds. In addition, it provides an IP 65 protection rating making it suitable for operation under harsh environments.
