Some people have to realize that there are more deep biological reasons for acne. Hormones are one of the main culprits of acne and experts agreed that in times of stress, hormone levels may rise. This, of course, depends on the person's stress coping mechanism and genetic predisposition. Getting enough rest and sleep can, in a way help lower stress hormone levels preventing the skin from breaking out more often.
