Should you take someones word for it without being skeptical? Of course not, but dont shove advice to the side because you think you know better. 3. You need to be comfortable during the test. Being comfortable while you are getting your ears tested is crucial, as it all begins there. Not only should you feel comfortable about the way sounds are being transmitted; you should also feel comfortable about the way it fits in your ear and how you feel while you are wearing glasses. Its a good idea to imagine all the situations you are normally in and try to bring them to mind while you are going through this test. It might end up giving you the key to the perfect device.

4. You need to get used to it in your life. How is this all going to work when you step out the door of your audiologists office and make your way into your life?
