Enjoy doing your work. To start and develop your business you're going to have to enjoy learning new stuff all the time and putting it into practice. Too many people read ebooks or watch videos and are no further forward. They not only don't take action but they haven't learned anything. You'll need to be continuously making connections and developing ideas and practices. Not to do these things largely comes from fear or reticence rather than enjoyment.
Work with others. There are plenty of people who know a lot more than you do about internet marketing. You can work with others in various ways. You could simply get some one-off advice, partner with someone on something like ad swaps or hire a mentor. Of course, you can also choose someone whose way of working you like and follow them carefully, watching and analyzing their every move.
Never give up. It may be a bit of a cliche but think of all the businesses that pack up quite quickly after start-up. Many times things will not work out or you get no responses at all. This is where you need to analyze why you think this happened and decide what you can do about it. In other words, it's your time to respond to your situation and to make it better next time. It's a continuous learning curve.
Test and track. In fact, testing, and tracking that testing, should be a main part of your business practice. Remember you're creating your business and not someone else's. You set out with your vision of what sort of business you want. You've worked out how to get there. You need to track your way there so that you're continuously improving.
Build your list. This is one the fundamental actions you need to be taking continuously. Even before setting up sales pages and previous to sales funnels, have doorways into that funnel through your squeeze pages. Remember, it's easier to sell to present subscribers and customers than to be depending on always finding new customers each time.
