7 More Things You Must Have For Global Warming Survival

Top 7 things to have for Global Warming Survival

Adam: Hi, This is Adam, we continue the questions and answers with Steve Soreno, author of the Global Warming Survival Bible.

Steve, How can anybody get a simple survival checklist they can use to protect themselves and their families from global warming effects?

Steve: A very specific answer would depend on the geographical location, on the local economy, on your specific situation, on many, many factors.

Weve actually looked at this issue and tried to figure out a good way to develop something that simplifies things7 more items to have for Global Warming Survival

Adam: Hi, This is Adam, and we are still working through a series of questions and answers with Steve Soreno, author of the Global Warming Survival Bible.

Steve, youve shared with us a simple survival checklist for people to put together to protect themselves and their families from all sort of events. There are people out there who are interested in more what do you have for people that want to have a more complete set of items handy?

Steve: Yes, there is a multitude of, lets say, tools for lack of a better word for everyone to use to build their own survival stockpile, their own survival stash, if you wish, because when you have that readily available it makes you more prepared for any unwanted or unexpected event. Imagine for a second the peace of mind youd have if you know that you had in hand all you need to survive without having to rely on anybody else. And we were saying that we made three types of lists: a small version, a medium sized list and a comprehensive one. Weve covered the small version already, and here is the medium sized list.

Besides what we recommended in the small list, these are the additional items:

for food, add dried beans, edible oils and grains

for energy, besides the minimal list already discussed, add a generator

to tool list, add duct tape, a hand pump, hunting knife, sharpening tools, wrench, pliers and ropeto the first aid list add sterile eye wash, blood stopper, hydrogen peroxide and safety pinsthe list of books should include a book on hunting and one on mechanics

for communication add a CB radio and a HAM radio your transportation devices should include a 4x4 truck, a wagon and 40 gallons of gasoline and other miscellaneous items to have extras of are toilet paper, soap, toothbrush and toothpaste, towels and sleeping bags

So thats the medium sized list. We also have a comprehensive list, that is good to stay safe for longer periods of time and well hopefully cover that in a future conversation.

Adam: Thats awesome Steve. I think a lot of people can use that. If youd like to learn more about what you can do to prepare for future changes visit www.globalwarmingsurvivalcenter.com. At the same place you can also get other videos in this series plus two chapters from Steves international book release. and makes it easy for everyone to apply.

One such tool is the global warming survival checklist. Weve made that in three variations: a small, minimal list that will help keep you safe for a few days; an average list, that will help you be safe for a week or so; and a comprehensive list that will help keep you safe for months, even years. And what Ill share with you today is the list we put together based on research we made that would result in something that is comprehensive enough but at the same time easy to put together.

So heres what we suggest you have handy in your house all the time, at a minimum:

Number one is food: nuts, dried fruit and canned meat.

Second comes energy: batteries and flashlight, candles, gas, waterproof matches and firewood

Third group of items is for tools: bow saw, ax, hatchet, glue, nails, nuts, bolts, screws, needle, thread and scissors.

Then first aid items: bandages, gauze dressings, splints, antibiotics, pain killers and a first aid kit that you can buy in a store.

The books you need to have handy are: a first aid book and a wilderness and city survival book.

The communication items recommended as a minimum are: a cell phone and a solar powered cell charger.

In the transportation category, you should have a good backpack or duffle bag and detailed maps of the area.

And for your protection, it is recommended to have a dog and at least some mace, if the law in your area allows it.

Adam: Awesome stuff, Steve. If youd like to learn more about what you can do to prepare for future changes visit www.GlobalWarmingSurvivalCenter.com. You can also get the rest of the videos in the series plus two chapters from Steves upcoming international book release.
