7 Tips for Curing or Greatly Reducing Your Tinnitus Symptoms - Did Anyone Know That There Is A Cure For Tinnitus?I have been advised by many
I have been advised by many people that there is no medical cure for tinnitus! I
cannot survive awful ringing sounds in the ears forever? Surely there must be some cure available somewhere. I mean i just want to reduce the noise as it sometimes gets so load and completely unbearable. Does anyone know whether there is
a cure for tinnitus? Any helpful tips i can use to cure this condition?
As you might already know, tinnitus is a very serious problem affecting many in the world today, and many who have usually try to do everything so as to treat it. This is one of the many sad tinnitus questions we got asked the other day by a tinnitus sufferer who can imagine that he was going to suffer with this condition all his life and was looking for ways out of it.
I thought it could be a good idea to answer this question in the form of an article so other tinnitus suffers could benefit from it. If you are suffering with tinnitus and have been searching online of some tinnitus remedies or treatment options that you can use to reduce that load noise in your ears, then there is a good chance that you have come across websites where questions like this are being asked.
I have been there before and I know exactly how you feel. In this article I will try to give an answer to this question, and also give some few recommendations that you can use to try treating or reducing your tinnitus. I will also provide links to websites where you can find advanced tips and tricks for curing tinnitus.
Many people and doctors say there is no real cure for tinnitus, but there are ways to manage it.
1. Wear earplugs. I reduce more damage to my ears and reduce the ringing in my ears by wearing earplugs to concerts, automobile races, around heavy machinery, and at night while I sleep. Or invest in those noise-reduction headphones by BOSE when you travel on airplanes, and use them when working alone at your desk to mask out the noise of the computer equipment.
2. Reduce "white noise" by shutting off all unnecessary appliances and electronic equipment when not in use. Replace an old, noisy refrigerator with a quieter one. Replace old appliances with energy-saving ones that are also quieter.
3. Turn down the volume on your music player headphones, turn down the volume on your stereo, turn down the volume on your home-theater surround sound, don't sit right next to the speakers at a concert, and protect your ears inside machine shops and mechanics' garages.
4. Move to a quieter neighborhood. This may sound silly, but reducing traffic background noise can at first make the ringing in your ear louder, but your brain will adjust to it after a few days. In fact, reducing ALL your background noise will make the ringing more pronounced, but after a few days of quiet, you brain will adjust and the ringing will lessen. It takes time, but it really works.
5. Exercise, eat right, and take your vitamins. By incorporating more activities in your life, you will adjust your ears to hearing a wider variety of sounds and different volume levels, as well as focusing your attention on your activities instead of staying home and focusing on the ringing in your ears. The more you divert your attention from your ears, the easier it is to adjust to the ringing.
6. Learn Sign Language, just in case none of the above works and you lose your hearing altogether. You'll make new friends in a whole new world ;)!
