A wrought iron door is a good item to have in any home because this adds a certain charm to the houses facade

In keeping the doors rust free, the first step is to clean it thoroughly. Use dishwashing liquid on water instead of detergent because the former not only cleans iron well but also makes it look new. After you cleaned the doors, you may now try to rustproofing. The following are steps to help you with the task.

Use paint as the first line of defense against rust


Paint will be good on your wrought iron doors because it will delay the formation of rust. In getting paints, make sure to ask the suggestion of the salesperson in the hardware.
