While the penchant for today's leather beds revolves around the sleek, stylish and jazzy black ones, there are people who hanker for a more natural aesthetic which can be found in brown leather beds. Brown is usually credited as the natural shade of leather, although in reality leather needs to be stained first in order to achieve its glossy brown color. Still, the sight of brown leather beds never fail to invoke images of rustic country settings, cowboys, and clichd images of the old wild west.

Just like its black and while counterparts, brown leather is considered a luxury item by some, and is a highly sought-for furnishing. Brown leather beds are known to give off a more grounded and sober air than its modern counterparts, although quality-wise each leather variety is on the same level. Brown leather beds may be a bit bland for some people, but it works well with more conservative dcor and simpler designs. Because of its elegant yet rugged appeal, brown leather beds would be perfect in dens or men's rooms. People who are after a less flashy and more mellowed luxury can't go wrong when they choose brown leather beds.
