A Musician and A Marketer

Hello, and welcome

Hello, and welcome. I am going to take a few moments to describe an unlikely combination of chosen professions, and how I utilitze them both to succeed. I am a 22 year old musician, composer, producer and marketer. This may be a very unlikely combination of careers, but I will explain how I am able to combine them, as well as my experience and goals.

Primarily, I am a musician; a guitarist of 10 years playing experience. I began to study at the New York Professional Guitar Center in Poughkeepsie, NY at the age of 12. I chose to pick up an instrument because of my growing obsession with rock music, and of course the guitar was the most appealing instrument for me to choose. After years of private instruction, by the time I was out of high school, I was playing full time in a local band a few friends and myself had founded, regularly playing concerts in the Tri State Area after recording a full length album in Brooklyn, NY. However, that didn't work out for very long due to internal confilcts between other members than myself. So I invested much time in making my own music - I've always had a skill for picking up on essential skills and techniques, and after paying attention to our engineer in the studio, I was able to combine my observations with previous music production skills to hone a fairly sharp talent of producing music. Combined with a wide array of musical influences, including a strong liking to the compositions of the skilled Nobuo Uematsu, I have been able to brand a very unique sound. Secondly, I have been involved in the affiliate marketing business (very much so to finance my music habits!). A vast industry, I have tried my hand at a couple different business opportunities. What I learned quickly was that there is a absolutely huge amount of them out there.
