A Permanent Church Fundraising Idea

I saw a news piece on the news about dwindling contributions to many local churches in the gulf region. I am going to suggest a church fund raising idea that is a win win for the church and the congregation. Given effort and time the funds will continue to grow for the life of the church.

How Will It Work?

This particular church fundraiser idea utilizes the power of a network marketing company to build the funds for the church. I am talking about using a company called People Helping People, Inc. Begining in August, 2010, they will provide a contract wireless service for cell phones all across the U.S. and Canada.

As with any network marketing plan someone is at the top and as other members or customers join they fall in under that individual's group. In this case the Church is at the top. Then members of the congregation can choose to join the business, and begin to build an income for themselves, or just be a customer and pay for a no contract, no credit check wireless service that is comparable to anything out there. Either way the Church receives a commission month after month. As some of the congregation build their businesses there will be much growth outside of the Church's demographic region. A small country church has the potential to have donations like a "mega-Church".

But a Church Is Not A Business!
