Cabo is a Mexican state, even if it feels American due to the influx of tourists, but lovely natural attractions still abound for travelers to enjoy. Head inland ( away from the Golden Corridor) to explore the Sierra de la Laguna pine-oak forests, the Sierra de la Laguna dry forest, the Sierra xeric shrubs. Of course the draw of the sea is always intoxicating, so just head to a beach away from the trampled path, there are dozens to choose from! Cabo San Lucas isn't just for retirees and partiers. Don't stay away just to avoid nightclubs, because a plethora of natural beauty abounds! Many hours can be whiled away with beach activities, boat tours, water sports, and by participating in local events..
