A Revolution In Open Fires

Would you like a nice open fire? But can't have one because you live in a built up area

? Gas fires are just not the same, & besides you need to have a gas supply built in, not to mention a flue. And I won't even mention electric fires. Or smelly gel fires that have a flame but not much heat.

Now it doesn't matter where you live, & what type of house or apartment you live in, you CAN have an open fire. Not just a 'fire effect' fire, or a 'not much more heat than a candle' open fire, but the type of open fire that will have you wondering quite how your room got so hot, so quickly (although you can of course turn the flame down once you are nice & warm). Decoflame do some particularly beautiful models, & there are many other decorative models that are not, strictly speaking an open fire as they don't quite provide enough heat. So if you're looking fotr the heat an open fire provides as well as the look you need to check models carefully, & it is best to see (& feel) them in operation before buying.

The answer lies with the EcoSmart Flueless fire. As with all bioethanol fires these amazing fires don't need any ventilation, they don't need a gas supply, or electricity, or any special installation. They can be installed in recesses in the wall, in an existing old fashioned fireplaces, or even in a hole in the floor. They are available in free standing models & will even work outdoors.

And the heat from an open fire is totally different to the heat from central heating. Not drying (the fires actually produce a little moisture) the air & heat circulate around the room, so if you are on the other side of the room you will still feel the heat within minutes of the fire being lit.

With everything except the sound of logs crackling, these fires are seriously addictive, once they are lit you wont want to do anything but curl up in front of it with the aforementioned glass of wine (or cup of cocoa). Just make sure you choose a repuatable supplier & a good sturdy brand, after all a lit fire is not something to take chances with!
