AMV Live Music Artist Signs To Top Producer

AMV Live Music is connected to Vertigo Management Ltd and both are proud to announce that one of their artists, Velecia Mode, has signed a recording production deal with Ray Hedges and Nigel Butler two of the UK's top producers.

Ray Hedges and his writing partner Nigel Butler who are both based in Jersey, Channel Islands, have over 60 top 20 hits and 8 number 1's to their name working with a diverse selection of artists including B*Witched, Donny Tourette, Towers of London, Chicane, Lil' Chris [2], Take That, The Spice Girls, Bryan Adams, Boyzone, Maxi Jazz from Faithless, Big Brovaz, Cher, Clannad, Tom Jones, Daniel Bedingfield, Boy George, Ronan Keating, Emma Bunton, Gene Simmons from Kiss, Liberty X, Brian McFadden, PJ & Duncan A.K.A. and Gareth Gates. Ray also has two Ivor Novello award nominations and a producer of the year award.

Joe McElderry's first single from his first album released this week and expected to be this weeks number one, is produced by Ray & Nigel. They are also working behind the scenes with Simon Cowell on this year's X Factor's groups.

Velecia 18, who was born in Manchester UK but now lives with her mother in Hartlepool UK, says, "I am unbelievably excited to be working with Ray & Nigel, they are very talented and are two of the most experienced and connected producers in the business. I know there is a lot of hard work ahead of me so for now I'm just going to keep my feet on the ground and keep working hard at my gigs playing in North East Bands here with AMV."

Her vocal style is naturally suited to soul and as that is the genre she writes in it is a perfect marriage. She is a beautiful blonde English rose who sings with a vocal that comes from the American south so it is unusual and that is what makes her so special."

The first track on her road to stardom is already finished and is a collaboration with Maxi Jazz from Faithless and features a reconstructed melody from the famous Nina Simone track "Feeling Good".
