These can also be fitted with more powerful motors, beefed-up suspensions and four-wheel drive, making them perfect for work in rocky areas.Electric golf carts use batteries to power an electric motor. These batteries can be charged by plugging the cart into a wall outlet. But, some golf carts are now fitted with solar panels on their roofs to help charge the batteries. Though electric golf carts seem like cheaper solution to gas, you need to replace the batteries every 4 year and it may be costly. Electric golf carts are good to use on golf courses and around your neighborhood. Except for periodic brake, repairs as well as tire and batteries replacement are minimal on the electric golf carts.
