Company away days are a good way of building and maintaining strong relationships at work

It is often found that those in superior positions such as managers or supervisors, tend to lower their feelings of caution and behave less authoritative with much more flexibility. The opposite happens to those who are normally told what to do, they tend to behave less timidly and often show the more assertive side of their personality. This is often the core value of a team away day.

The best type of away day is one that combines fun with training. For example, you could spend the morning discussing work, company policy's and targets, followed by exciting team building activities in the afternoon.
