Academic Grants: General Overview Of Academic Grants
Most people that want to conduct researches are engaged into scientific projects
. Do not think that there are issues similar to those presented in The Nutty Professor (1996) starring Eddie Murphy. All experiments should not be based on mere assumptions. Some ground is very important and scientists should weigh all pros and cons before starting long-lasting and expensive experiments. Most scholarly articles present studies completed due to secondary researches. The more complicated the task is, the more costs it would involve. In this respect, it is necessary to divide the research at separate stages, each consisting of certain experiments. If one experiment fails, the next would be inappropriate.
Stages of researches
Each stage of a research should be justified with regard to its role in the overall project.
1.The most important part of the research is the first stage when the information is collected and processed.
This stage includes a literature review. As a rule, a literature review is a process of reading other literary sources on similar subjects and finding some gaps, recommendations, and appropriate guidelines for your research. The novelty of your research is of paramount importance because no one seeks for a paraphrased scholarly source.
2.The next stage depends on the nature of your research.
If you try to find a curative for cancer patients, you should conduct a pilot research in the laboratory. There is no organization that would allow using some medicines for people without proper laboratory experiments.
3.After having successfully completed the experiments, you can apply for a research grand that would enable you to conduct a research based on the collected information and results of the experiments.
There are several stages of the research process. Collected information and laboratory experiments are arts of the final research and can be supported through grants as well.
