May be it is a desire for you to learn how to play one but you are afraid. You may be wondering how hard can it be? How long will it take for you to learn how to pick that guitar? With so much going on how will you ever have the time to learn.

You have never played an acoustic guitar, but yet you are drawn to it with a burning desire to learn. May be you feel somewhat afraid because it seems to be hard because of all the finger movement. You want to be able to produce beautiful music and not sound like you are breaking the strings.

You should not be afraid to learn how to play the guitar, because you could be the one who brings soulful music to people ears. You can not be afraid to fail, no one who learned to play got it right the first time nor the second. You just have to keep picking away.

Think back to when you first tried to learn how to ride a bike. You more than likely fell, right, and it hurt, but you got right back on it. Before you knew it you were riding like a champ. It is the same way with an acoustic guitar, you hit a wrong note and keep on picking till you get it right.

It is going to take you some time to get use to the finger movement, learning the notes and finding your rhythm. You may have even started playing around with it a little bit. Every time you go into the music store you find yourself with an acoustic guitar in yours hands, pretending you already know how to play it. That is the first step that you have made to learning how to play it. Now the time has come for you to quit pretending and start learning.

The acoustic guitar is nothing to be afraid of, it was made for playing and making music. You have pictured yourself playing one long enough, now it is time to really learn. You will not regret it one bit because the time you spent to learn how to play will be well worth it.
