Adbrite - Full Tutorial

If you know what google content network is, then AdBrite is similar to that

. When you start creating a campaign on AdBrite.com you will be asked to fill some fields. I will explain below all you need to know about it, and in each field how you can optimize it.

Choose Ad Type

There are 3 choices here: Banner ads, Text ads and Full page ads. From what i tested, text ads are the ones that perform the best. You can give a lot of information to someone by text, that you could not on a banner ad for example.

Location Of Users

There are 2 options "Show my ad in all categories" and "Choose categories". If you want targeted click, then you must choose the countries you want to website countries you want to advertise on. If you making ads in english there is no point on advertising on China. The clicks you get from there, are just a waste of your money. So, if you doing ads in english, choose countries like United States, Canada, Australia, United Kingdom and others.

Keywords

To get an even targeted audience you can write the main keyword that applies to your product. But, this is what everyone is doing. So, if i were you, i would leave this blank. Choose the option "Do not target by keywords". Targeting by demographics is way more powerful than through keywords. And i will teach you that in this article.

Preferred Sites

Just choose "Show on all sites" and you are good.

Gender and Age

Here is the trick, that not many people know. I will give you two examples below, so that you see how important is to understand this in order to get targeted traffic.

Example 1: Lets suppose you are promoting a weight loss product. You probably noticed already that females worry about this a lot more that males. So choosing "Female only" would be a great option here. Also people under 18 wont have the money to buy the product, and people above 55, just dont care about this. A good age range in this case would be 18-54.

Example 2: Lets suppose you are promoting a product about building six pack abs. Very few females worry about this. On the other hand, which men dont want to have a six pack abs to impress that special lady? Choosing "Male only" would be a great choice on this case. About the age range 18-44 would be de ideal.

After completing this steps you will be taken to the next page where you set your budget. Here is all up to you. If you got less money to spend, than dont increase your "Max C.P.C. bid" too much.
