Amazon is a big company who will pay you to promote their products. Affiliate marketing with Amazon is a win-win scenario. They have already spending millions of dollars per year on advertising fees and usually it is not very effective. Once you set up an affiliate account with Amazon you can choose a product and begin promoting it in any way you choose but subject to their terms and conditions. So every time a product gets sold as a result of your blogging or website efforts you will receive your commission anywhere from 2-8% depending on the product category.

Secondly, you will likely want to choose a niche that is hot at the particular moment. TV's, iPods, and cellphones are always hot so if you go with any of these items you shouldn't have any problem generating and converting traffic to sales.

Also, if you have some experience in a particular niche then it will be much easier for you to write informative articles on the products and broaden your marketing knowledge.

Once you've decided on a niche then you will have to begin creating a simple website to promote it.
