I suggest getting into affiliate marketing, but how? Well its a very simple concept. Affiliate Marketing Networks are paid to have various offers available for affiliates to try out. For example, lets say you joined an affiliate network. They have a number of campaigns, maybe one is a product sold by JC Penny or Ikea. You are advertising a product sold by JC Penny through the affiliate marketing network you joined. In a sense, it is a series of businesses that you are supporting.
When joining an affiliate network, choose a "campaign" that is right for you.
1. Look over each campaign, then look at your competitors in that niche. For example, if you chose to advertise a dating website then you need to look at various keywords that are affiliated with that advertisement. How competitive are those keywords? Will you be able to rank for long tail keywords easily? The point to this is to make sure it wont take a few months for you to start earning some money.
2. What is the commission on this campaign? If you do PPC for said campaign what is your ROI? For example if the commission is $3.00 per sign up and the Cost per click is $0.88 then do the math that is your ROI.
So those are just two things you should think about when joining an affiliate network. Not every network is right for each person. There are ones that dont offer campaigns you would want at the commission you want.
