If you want to make ANY money online what so ever you need to join an affiliate marketing network. Each network has offers which you apply too. Each offer is in a certain "niche." For example, maybe you want to work in womens products. There are thousands of women's products and depending on the affiliate network they allow you to advertise certain women's products.
What you need to do
Find a network that has certain offers you like. Some affiliate networks offer thousands of different campaigns and some just a few.
Then see how much commission you can receive from advertising that certain offer. Also, make sure to pick an offer that you can actually succeed in. Some offers are in very competitive niches. And it is difficult to rank organically for that keyword. For example, maybe you want to advertise ipods. I'm sure its very competitive and difficult to make money advertising. However, it is an extremely popular product so it really depends on your skill set.
Basically, you need to find an offer with keywords you can rank for very easily. You want your articles to be number one.
Each affiliate network is unique and different from the other. Each one has different offers and of course different Affiliate managers.
