affiliate marketing works and what you need to be successful and make a lot of money. Its time to sell some stuff. So where do we go from here!
In the last article we decided on a great product to market. Before we do that we know that other people want this great product. We need to know there is in fact a market for this product.
1. Google believe it or not has some great free information sites available to help you with this. The one I highly recommend you look at is Google Adwords Keyword Tool. Simply type in your product name or the keywords you are looking at marketing under and it will give you a rough idea of competition and most importantly if there are people clicking on sites. Potential buyers in other words. We now know there is a market for our product lets find a supplier.
2. Many major players on the internet have affiliate programs available. Three Affiliate online retail marketing outlets I recommend are Amazon, Clickbank and Commission Junction. Really there are hundreds out there and the sign up process is quite simple for each. Again research things like your commission rates to get the biggest benefits from these services.
3. Now its time to set up a blog or website to sell the product your promoting on. One great way to start here is through a blog. Blogs currently are a favourite of Google so why not use that to your advantage and develop a good looking blog for your product. One important thing to remember here is that you're not selling something to your audience your solving a problem for them and giving them a solution. This really helps in developing your blog or site.
4. No matter how great your site is you need to get people to visit it. You need to generate traffic. One of the great benefits of using a blog is that you can invite comments about your blog and this helps your ranking with Google. Another great thing about blogs they are in essence a living document in that you can add new information regularly to your blog which will also attract readers to come back again and again.
5. You should also look at other forms of traffic generation to your blog or website including article writing, press releases, developing fun videos through places such as youtube even paid services such as adwords from Google.
Remeber to do this hard work and you will start to seesome money coming in. It may not bea lot at this timebut it is a basic blueprint for success. Work throughthistheory andsuccess will follow.
