If the break up was over something trivial, all it takes is for one of you to make the first move at salvaging things. You would have to swallow your pride and make that first contact with your ex.

The way society is, the man would most likely be the first to make contact. Some people could consider the girl to be desperate for trying to get her boyfriend to come back to her. Before you make that first move, take a good look at your true feelings so you know you are making the best decision.

If you are thinking of using your ex's family or friends for help, be careful. This could back fire on you if they disliked you for some reason. You will also need to be careful about being tagged as a stalker if you seem to be chasing after your ex putting pressure on them. You must take it nice and easy so you look like you are in control of your life and are not desperate.

If nothing else, you could just ask your ex if they would meet you at a neutral location for lunch or coffee so the two of you could talk. Who knows, maybe your ex has been waiting for you to contact them but has been afraid you no longer had any interest. Yes it could be as simple as that.
