After performing a short set together last weekend at a benefit for The Hoping Foundation in Oxfordshire, England, both the artists plan to come together at least once more, performing "Comfortably Numb" at one to-be-determined stop on Waters' forthcoming tour celebrating the 30th anniversary of The Wall. As promised, Waters performed "To Know Him Is To Love Him" along with Floyd classics "Wish You Were Here," "Comfortably Numb" and "Another Brick in the Wall, Part 2 at the benefit last weekend. In return, Gilmour will join Waters for a single date throughout his 94-stop tour, which begins in Toronto on September 15th and runs with a brief break, during June 2011. The date will be a surprise. Waters ended his post with the exciting statement, "End of story. Or possibly beginning." Pink Floyd's Roger Waters and David Gilmour are set to reunite and following their recent charity show collaboration in Oxford. They will perform the band's classic 'Comfortably Numb' at a selected gig on Waters' upcoming solo tour of the track's parent album 'The Wall'. In response to the remarkable demand, Roger Waters' has additional 12 new shows to his enormous production for the 30th Anniversary of The Wall that features a full band and a newly-mounted state-of-the-art production.

As of now, Waters will take a few months off before launching his European leg on March 21st in Lisbon, PT. Hell then tour across the UK and Europe before winding down on June 18th in Dsseldorf, Germany. Notable dates include a three-night stint at Londons O2 Arena and various stops all through Germany. In the UK, he is going to play three nights at the London O2 Arena on May 11, 12 and 17, followed by two nights at the Manchester Evening News Arena (20, 21). A further show will take place at Dublin's O2 Arena on May 23. Its unfamiliar whether Roger Waters were referring to the Great Wall Of China when he wrote Pink Floyds classic album The Wall, while there is a slight possibility that it might be about mental barriers instead. There is no doubt that Roger Waters are one of the most commercially successful musicians of all time despite never really conforming to commercial music. His band Pink Floyd were a wonderfully determined group of people, they raised the bar and set wonderfully high standards that their contemporaries are still reaching for today. Albums The Wall and Dark Side Of The Moon are two of the most acclaimed ever with the latter the second top selling album in history. Roger Waters made headlines before this year when he announced plans to revisit "The Wall" on an international tour beginning later this year.
