Well what a great man Al Gore was (life to date) and bar a few votes in Florida might have been the greatest US President the world had every seen
. The world could have been a totally different and a better place and maybe no worldwide recession in a perfect Al Gore world. That we will leave to the history books But Al Gore the visionary since 2002 has shown the way concerning climate change and Alternative Power Sources.
Enough about dreaming about what could have been in the past it's the future that concerns us with climate change and alternative power sources that will save the world from doom and destruction and there is no doubt the visionary Al Gore has shown way in the focusing the worlds attention on why Alternative power sources are so important with his book Our Choice and his Alliance for climate protection should be heralded.
Maybe this recession will have some long term benefits to the world I am hoping that there will be real change and Obama does give hope that his clean energy legislation will not only bring millions of jobs to America but make a real difference to the world and bring forward in a gigantic step the use of alternative power sources.
There is one major problem with Visionaries its actually transferring that vision to reality and a good example of this is solar power and Solar panels. With the average costs for a new home being some $14,000 Dollars. However some new homes are having solar panels installed in there roofs as part of the price and as an incentive for people those homes over new homes that don't have solar panels. So already we can see comercial pressures being used in a positive way to bring solar power to the masses.
However not everyone has that type of money to spend and if you really believe in Alternative power sources especially solar panels but cant afford it why not build your own for a fraction of the cost. Believe it or not it might be easier than you think and it also might give you one of your greatest pleasures on the planet and when your time comes to make you maker you can boldly say. I Made A Difference To This Planet In My Lifetime.
