This view has changed as the shoe has become a big fashion hit with people of all ages and sizes. In one practical sense they are an excellent size for the taller woman who wants to wear heels but doesnt want to accentuate her height too much. Fashion models are often seen wearing them on the catwalks all over the capital cities of the world. They have been hugely successful in the last year or two on clog shoes The slight curve of the heel which does not exist on its big sister, the high heel lends a unique attractiveness to it which looks good on women's boots as well as many other type of shoe.

The definition of a kitten heel is a heel that is anything below one inch and up to one and a half inches long. The most popular ones are at the lower end of that range of heights.The slight curve to the shape as described above is also to be found on most versions of this heel.

Much as most women enjoy wearing high heels, there are times when the kitten heel is a much more comfortable compromise. The design of the kitten heel usually results in a softer and more comfortable ankle support. It is also a shoe whichbeing generally a lot more comfortable to wear, is popular in everyday use, in the office and at home. Even something like dancing is a lot easier than it is with high heels.
