Warhammer to Launch "The Verminous Horde" - 11/18/2010

Being introduced with Update 1.4, the packs will be available in the EA Store at prices of $10 for one, and $15 if purchased together.

"The Verminous Horde" introduces a new feature to Tiers 2-4 of open RvR. The new capture mechanic will, they say, change the game and provide more reason to fight it out in Open RvR.

Skaven are coming with this one as well. The Rat-Like race comes with 4 controllable classes. These include:

Warlock Engineer

Pack Master

Rat Ogre

Gutter Runner

Also in this pack, a new RR65+ dungeon called Thanquol's Incursion. Participating in Thanquol's Incursion will apparently grant players early access to he new content coming with 'The Vernimous Horde".

So for all you Warhammer players out there, I guess we know why you'll be putting your Christmas shopping this year, huh?

Progression Pack

Accelerated Leveling

Renown Ranks are accelerated, applying to levels 1-80

More Ranks

20 more ranks for all characters on your account, allowing progression all the way to Rank 100. New Ranks also come with new rewards.

New Gear

2 new Rank armor and item sets available at 90 and 100 consecutively.

New Weapons

Three new sets of Scenario Weapons. Available through Rank 81-100, they unlock at 81, 90 and 100.

Personality Pack

Barber Surgeon Tokens

Customize your character again using tokens available only to those who purchase the pack. Customization is facial.

Pets

All characters on the account will receive four vanity pets, all new, and the color is an option for the player to choose. These pets are:

Mounts

All characters on the account get a high-end heavy mount. Color is player choice. They are usuable at Renown Rank 60, and have a 70% speed boost with a 45% dismount.
