Once the veneer is attached to tooth, a ray of laser is used to dry the glue and strengthen the attachment. Veneers are durable teeth accessories and they can last from 15 to 20 years. The placement of veneers becomes mandatory, if the teeth are suffering from permanent stains like tetracycline stains or fluorosis stains. The customized veneers are a great way of concealing permanent stains. If the teeth structure and alignments need work then the veneers are placed after reshaping the teeth.

However, if there is a teeth problem like bruxism, then the placement of veneers is not recommended.
