Resident visa holders of Arab Gulf Co-operation Council (AGCC) countries wit designations like company managers, businesses, accountants, auditors, engineers, doctors or employers working in public sector and their immediate family sponsored by the personnel are eligible for a free entry permit.
Passport holders of many countries, such as France, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland, Sweden, Austria, Denmark, Norway, Ireland, Portugal, Spain, Malta, Finland, Vatican, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, Greece, Portugal, Cyprus, United States, Austria, Canada, New Zealand and many others are allowed free permit as well.
This type of Dubai Visa permit is renewable for 3 days.
Dubai Visit Visa
Dubai visit visas are granted to people under certain conditions. Residents of Dubai can apply for this visa for they have any blood relations or spouse. In his case, the Dubai visa applicant must pay AED 1000 refundable deposit amount as a proof of health insurance.
Dubai Tourist Visa
All nationalities are allowed to enter UAE with a Tourist Visa. Tourist visas are granted for 30 days to be renewed once the period s over. This type of visa can be applied through a travel agent or licensed hotel. Tourists must be covered by their respective health insurance scheme a swell.
Residence Visa
Residence Visa can be issues for people who intend to stay back or reside indefinitely with a permanent resident of Dubai. However as this is a permanent visa, it will be cancelled in case if a person remains out of UAE for more than 6 months.
Employment Visa
Employees of any particular company in UAE are issued the Employees Visa by the UAE Immigration Department. Any foreign national can obtain this visa if he/she has valid documents to prove employment.
Student Visa
Student Visa will be issues to candidates for 60 days that can be further renewed up to two times for the required period of time. However students will have to register in any of the universities in UAE and must also have health insurance to be eligible for this Visa.
Basic Requirements
Any person applying for a Dubai visa will require a valid passport and 2 photocopies, 4 photographs, duplicate application forms, letter or fax from sponsors in UAE and letter from the company of the applicant and a photocopy of the same.
Dubai Visa can also be sponsored by a hotel or travel agent.
