Usage of economisers allows small compressors to supply required pressure and flow for the system that normally would be an alternative for bigger compressors. It increases system capacity of refrigeration which would be very low otherwise it also helps the system in using less power to produce high pressure.

Setting up Economisers in Refrigeration Systems

There are few displays that allow refrigeration cycles to function as like economisers. This system demands expert knowledge on matters like manufacturing gears, components and wiring. The Different kinds of Systems-

1. Two Staged Boosters-

This system is set up in a booster with sub cooling.

2. Gas Compressors using Economizers

They are required to use two compressors while considering a booster. This will lead to increase in cost of refrigeration system. These systems also require special attention ion terms of pressure control, lubrication and synchronization. Hence the cost of the system is high. Special gears have been introduced to reduce the cost of the systems.

3. Refrigeration Cycle and Sub Cooling Optimizers.

All the systems mentioned above produce economizer effect by using valves, heat exchangers, compressors and meters. In few systems an independent refrigeration mechanism can be produced conveniently by using economizers. This is the case of subcooling the heat out of the main system by treating the liquid line of the system

4. Internal Heat Exchangers

It is also possible to produce subcooling by overheating the gas and allowing it to evaporate. Its a basic solution where liquid reaches the valve and the gas reaches the compressor. It also allows heat exchange restoration and minimizes some portion of the exchangers to modify the temperature of the fluid and expands the volume which enables the refrigerant to change the phase.
