Aloe Vera to help delay or even stop hair loss Myth or reality
When it comes to our health, most people try every sort of treatment they have just
probably heard of and some are "old wives' tales" and home remedies and some really work but some do not. The challenge is to distinguish the false from what is really the truth. When men and women lose their hair in such a young age, they tend to be really concern and some would buy any product that can promise them salvation from early baldness. Not only will it destroy most of the person's social life but can create a tremendous backlash on his/her self confidence, unless of course being a bald person is something he would look good at.Weird remedies that were practiced of old range from scorpions' brew to snakes being bashed in a bag and placed on the man's balding head accompanied by rituals of the hair god to bless this poor guy's hair. He's lucky to have no hair if he survives the poison from drinking cobra venom. But today, there are far less barbaric remedies, but still are false remedies none the less like rubbing lizard droppings on your scalp and some countries thought goose dung were thought to do the trick. All in good intention but do not work and does not have any scientific proof to back it up. On the other hand, the juice from the Aloe Vera plant has long been related to delay and even stop hair loss, but is this another of those vague baseless mother goose's home remedies? Or is there actual proof and logic behind it? It has been studied that Aloe Vera has properties that reduces Sebum, which is oil that is naturally produced by the body and is released in the hair glands. This is beneficial, if produced in normal amounts and helps the scalp to be moisturized. Problem occurs when certain chemical reactions in our bodies make our scalps over produce Sebum, it attracts dirt and dust and forms crusts in the scalp preventing new hair to grow. Aloe Vera was studied to have anti bacterial properties that actually reduce and eliminate the Sebum allowing hair to breathe and grow again. This has been proven by experience and factual studies and many other benefits as an anti hair loss remedy a bit too long for one article. So does the Aloe Vera posses helpful properties when it comes to preventing hair loss? Or is it just a myth? It is surely not just an old wives tale and if it there are people who have not been able to reap its benefit, its either they are using it the wrong way or their condition is beyond natural help.
