Different people have different preferences in various areas

. For instance, some people like to wear jeans and other clothes of casual style whereas others prefer more classic clothes or a complete fusion of styles. Food and music are categories that can be divided in accordance with preferences as well. Fast food restaurants and classic restaurants where people eat oysters and snails are places where different groups of people prefer to eat. Some people like rock music, others like to listen to popular music produced for teenagers and young adults whereas hip-hop and jazz are movements in music that are associated with a lifestyle rather than with ordinary preferences in music. Alumni associations are organizations where people have certain interests and preferences. As a rule, these interests are common.

The second interesting idea about alumni associations concerns the time of meetings. As you probably know, all organizations have certain meetings organized, for example, twice a year. However, these meetings have nothing in common with the episodes introduced in movies where the members of the mafia come together and discuss important issues. Modern technologies provide us with specific means and devices that enable participants of meetings to take part in the online discussion of the problem, if necessary.

In this respect, you should not think that there are absolutely strict rules for alumni associations members.
