There are many alumni associations in the US. Their main aim is to protect and improve the educational institution and to patronage those who have just graduated. Actually, such organizations are a great support for the university or college. They usually provide the educational institutions with books, necessary equipment and all that sort of things. Moreover, they make their contribution to the improvement of the quality of the educational system.

One of such organizations is the University of South Alabama National Alumni Association.

Let us see its main objectives:

1.This association was founded in 1974. It maintained active collaboration with the University in order to support it and assist in achieving universitys goals.

2.National Alumni Association is preoccupied with the improvement of the quality of the education at the university. For this purpose, it provides different services, comprehensive programs and affordable resources for all alumni and students of the university.

3.The association is governed by 21 members who lead its affairs, including all activities and finances.

4.Among the activities, organized by the association, are golf tournaments, homecoming events, leadership scholarship programs, alumni receptions and others.

5.All the information about this organization, its activities and plans, one can find out from the Alumni newsletter called Looking South. It contains the information about student activities, different programs and events organized by the association, as well as stories written by the members of the organization.

6.Apart from the financial support to the university, this organization provides scholarship programs, which attract students from all United States.

7.Today, there are several main objectives of the association. They are to encourage students to become the members of the association in order to assist them in their future career growth and to enhance quality of the education at the university.
