Always elect a Government which cares for all: Rahul Gandhi

Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi appealed people to elect a Government which cares for all. Adressing a public rally in Raigarh on Tuesday Rahul Gandhi appealed people to vote for UPA in the Loksabha election. Mr. Gandhi said the UPA had worked in centre for last 5 years and it has tried to fulfill the promises made to people. Congress has done lot of work for the poors, Dalits and backward communities as per it's promises. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress President Sonia Gandhi have been the main guiding force behind all the development schemes.

Rahul further said if India has to grow then we have to have development for all. Poors, tribes and downtrodden have to have equal say in development process. The UPA has launched National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme in all the districts of the country which provides 100 day employment for all. Tribal bill and mid day meal for all school going children are another achievement of the Government. UPA has waived Rs. 60,000 crore loans of farmers and Govt is committed to provide all help to this sector.

Rahul said, at one side this is the Congress which thinks of making development along with poors, Dalits and tribes, on the other side opposition is completely against this idea. "They had launched the India Shining compaign last time but they fell to understand that India was shining only for some of it's people not for all. It can not happen for long run" said Rahul. He termed it unfortunate that Whatever is done at Centre, does not reach to the target people as states do not pay attention to it. Be it NREGA or Tribal bill it has not reached to the grassroot people as was proposed. Rahul attacked opposition by saying that UPA is committed to eradicate terrorism from the country. He denied the accusation of the opposition that Manmohan Singh lacks the will to fight terrorism.He questioned the Pariliament attack and the Kadhar plane hijjack during NDA regime and said that it is the strong initiative of Manmohan Govt that Pakistan has come to terms with us. But during NDA regime, terrorists were sent to Kandhar by aeroplane but now they have forgot it completely.

Rahul again appealed to people if they want to see India developed they have to elect a Govt which cares for poors, Dalits and Backwards.He appealed people to vote for UPA.
