Getting amazing abs does not necessarily mean that you should be doing abdominal exercises

Good carbs and fats will actually cause you to burn body fat rather than store it. The proper nutrition should be your main concern if you want to get amazing abs. Your workout should focus on your entire body, not one specific area, and you should not concentrate on one exercise alone.
In addition to cardio, strength training is also an effective way to burn body fat even stubborn belly fat. You should be lifting weights in addition to doing your cardio exercise to get the maximum benefits out of your workout. Once you lose the belly fat, you can concentrate on short abdominal exercises.
