American Airlines Goes Eco With Its Coffee

Last Monday, November 1, travellers on board all American Airlines flights have been dished up a new, environmentally-friendly coffee in a larger cup! The airline, which has sustained under economic pressure the past few many years, announced yesterday that they may be gracing their customers with coffee made by Java City, a coffee company based out of Sacramento, California.

According to the company's Vice-President, Rob Friedman, the actual coffee that American will be giving through Java City is "high quality, great tasting, and ecofriendly." In fairness, the coffee they will be offering is a 100% Arabica bean blend that has been authorized by the Rainforest Alliance, which means that it was produced, harvested and mailed by means that adhere to international labor in addition to environmental standards.
