Hanger

On the back of the frame is usually a type of hook for hanging the frame.

Tape

Tape is usually used to attach the item to the mat board. There are two different types that are typically used: acid-free tape to attach the item to the board and mylar tape to enclose the glass, mat board and backing board. Other adhesives may be used for particularly large items.
