An eye LASIK surgery involves three steps. First, a hinged corneal flap is created with microkeratome blade or laser. Then, a laser is used to remove a specific part of the corneal tissue which had been calculated by the eye doctor before the eye LASIK. Finally, the flap made in the first step is repositioned, and it will stick to the cornea and heals quickly on its own. The LASIK surgeon may use anesthetic eye drops to make the procedure painless.
