Anderson College students amassing dresses to assist some prom queens
Rebecca Hammett, a 21-year-old pupil at Anderson University, wishes to recreate an expertise with the university that she still remembers from her great school days in Lexington.

The pupils could have a large assortment for the project Saturday at Hope Fellowship Church on Clemson Boulevard. Hammett explained college students will be available from ten a.m. until 4 p.m., taking in donated items.

So far, the students have collected about 20 dresses, Hammett reported. In early February, Hammett stated she hoped the local community would donate fifty to 75 dresses.
But by Thursday, the Cinderella Challenge had by now collected about 120 dresses, as a result of a significant donation through the T.L. Hanna High School Prom Committee.
Dresses will be collected till April eight. Dresses in larger dimensions are essential, as well, she explained.
The pupils will put in place a "Cinderella Boutique" at the Rainey Good Arts Middle on April 16. Hammett stated the community great school advice counselors are helping establish girls who could benefit from the dresses collected by the Cinderella Challenge.
And Hammett, that is a theater and artwork schooling big at Anderson University, claimed she is searching ahead to viewing an entire new set of faces mild up since the women discover the dresses which are just correct for them.
"We are receiving genuinely excited," Hammett explained. "Things are seriously coming together."
