As he said he was showing us an alternative way of doing business. It's exactly the way he has pulled in over 50million. Despite this proof Andrew's alternative way works, he receives emails from people giving him reasons why they can't start.

Some of these excuses are not having enough time (Andrew made time despite a 60 hour week corporate job when he started), not enough money to start (Andrew Reynolds started on a shoestring) and being too old to start (Andrew Reynolds was in his 40s when he started and explained age isn't an issue, you could start at 80).

Andrew Reynolds told us several moving stories about people who have made a success of this way of doing business despite real drawbacks. One of these was a guy called Richard who was in the audience who isn't very good with computers because he has cerebral palsy which means he has some movement problems. In fact he can't use his fingers on the keyboard but as Andrew Reynolds showed us, Richard uses a tool that looks like a big blue dinner plate to type and send emails.

During that Bootcamp weekend, Andrew Reynolds also told us about how he and his little brother lived in relative poverty all of their childhood. Andrew Reynolds had every excuse to turn his back on starting up his business using this alternative way of running it.

His grandpa failed in business, his father failed in business. On Andrew's maternal side his granddad was a preacher in a local church and he ran a small building business. It went bust. The point Andrew Reynolds was making to us all at that Bootcamp was that he had come from a background where going into business had always failed. He started with a completely negative concept of business it was doomed to fail.

But he didn't use this as an excuse. Instead, Andrew Reynolds studied business and turned it around to come up with a completely new model that is simplicity to use and guaranteed success so long as you followed the model.

Andrew Reynolds asked us to all write down, "Who do you want to be?" He told us that you create the person you want to be. That's what Andrew Reynolds did 12 years ago. He decided who he wanted to be and he did it.
