Overview
The city of Antequerais located in the Malaga province and is a municipality. It is also known by the name the heart of Andalusia because it is central to Granada, Cordoba, Seville and Malaga. It is situated at a height of 57 m above sea level and has a population of 42,000.
History
Two Bronze Age burial mounds exist in the citys northern outskirts - Dlmen de Viera and Dlmen de Menga and they date back to 3rd millennium BC. The structures of these mounds are the largest in Europe.

The maximum and minimum average temperatures in this city are 26 C in July-August and 9 C in February.
