If you apply the Psalms of David to the world now, what picture do you get?
In Book One of the Psalms we are told:
Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners or join with scoffers. But they delight in doing everything the Lord wants; day and night they think about his law.
They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season without fail. Their leaves never wither, and in all they do they prosper.'
But this is not true of the wicked. They are like worthless chaff, scattered by the wind. They will be condemned at the time of judgment. Sinners will have no place among the godly.'
For the Lord watches over the path of the godly, but the path of the wicked leads to destruction.'
Psalms of David, Book One: 1- 6
Three thousands of years ago David's Psalms have depicted a criterion for mankind. It has drawn out a complete and fully fledged universal outlook for man. It has depicted the origin of man, his purpose and reason of being, his finality and his path he must take. It is a full admonition to mankind. It has shown the way to humans. It has prescribed two ways. The way of evil and the path of good. Then, it has given man the choice and complete responsibility o choose and follow either way.
In few words the first utterances of the Psalms have concentrated the meaning of man's own being and prescribed for him the path of salvation. The wicked and sinners way is manifest and so is the good way is manifest.
Glad tidings are manifestly displayed to all. The Psalms talk in the general absolute sense. It addresses man as such. No particularization of humans, all are concerned. Two classifications are depicted: the good people and the evil ones. Then the Pslams prescribe the finally and consequences of man's own path and man's own actions. The godly would be rewarded and the wicked sinners shall be destroyed. A Day of judgment is certainly coming. A Mighty lord, God of all, watches over humans and shall judge them accordingly. One God is prescribed, one Lord is prescribed, no other God not Lord be He: Absolutely pure and clear monotheism.
Look at the world's picture today, and what do you see?
Mostly wickedness and rejection of God, mostly sinners and deniers of the Lord. Who does actually acknowledge God now, and obey His Law?
1.5 Billions of utter disbelievers of Gog and Magog! 800 polytheist Hindus worshipping hundreds of thousands of gods. 300 millions of disbelieving Buddhists. Hundreds of millions of atheists, whether materialists or mechanicists-organicists. One billion and a half of Christian blasphemers who believe in trinity ascribing to God a son ( Jesus Christ) and an angel ( Gabriel). Most Jews do not abide by the divine Law revealed unto Moses. Most Muslims do not abide by their Law al-Shari ah.
The greater majority of humans have forsaken God for the Devil and are satisfied with their worldy life. They all lead a their lives according to their lusts and desires. Money, power, possessions, glory, fame and position are the criteria for humans everywhere today.
No fear of God. No piety for God. No application of God's law.
The Psalms of David prescribes specifically the application of God's Law. It commands humans to apply His Law. But how many people, or societies apply God's Law? How many humans apply His law in their lives?
Nowhere, simply nowhere, in our world today the Law of God is applied. No one Islamic state or society applies God's Law. No one Christian society applies God's Law. Jews are busy making money, Muslims are busy making money and living it up, forsaking the Hereafter for this world. Christians are no exceptions. These are the adherents to God's Law by theory.
Count yourself, how many people are good and how many people are sinners and wicked? See what Christ has said to those who want to stone a prostitute: Let the man who did not sin throw the first stone.'
The greater majority of humans, past and present are wicked. Look at the world map of dominance and power throughout history! Look at it now and see how the strong dominates the weak. See how many few rich people monopolize world's wealth! Look at wolrd's news and see and hear for yourself the dominance of crazy psychopaths over the billions! Where is God in the hearts of the people? Where is the Law of God, anywhere in the world?
Is this not evident? Is this not expressive of how
They identify themselves as monotheists but forget God and lesser still, apply His Law.
David, must be turning in his grave!
