Glimepiride

This drug is effective but has been linked to various side effects, such as muscle weakness, blurred vision, dizziness, perspiration, rashes, easy bruising, tremors, seizures, shaking, chills, fever, jaundice and confusion.

Sitagliptin Phosphate

This is a prescription drug, which effectively increases the body's insulin production and lowers the blood sugar levels of type 2 diabetes patients. The side effects of Sitagliptin phosphate include sore throat, runny nose, shaking, sweating, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and vision disorders. Also, it can cause infection in the patient's upper respiratory tract.
