I know there are hundreds of paid survey websites and advertisement all over the internet, telling you how you can make a living taking simple online surveys. But the truth is, you cant really make a living taking online surveys.

An average online survey pays $2 for a 20 minuet survey. Yes you could make about $100 a day taking surveys, but first of all you have to spend all day sitting in front of your computer, which means its probably better to get a job where you can make that money working only 8 hours a day or so. The second problem is that paid survey sites don't send out that much survey invitation every day. On average you receive 3-4 paid survey invitation a week. So, you cant really count on paid surveys as a means of paying your bills.

But, that's not to say you cant make much money with paid surveys. Of course to make more money taking paid surveys, you need to be invited to take more surveys, and that can be done by registering with a bunch of legitimate paid surveys sites such as opinion outpost and valued opinions. That way you have a better chance of receiving more survey invitations and thus making more money.

When it comes to getting paid taking online surveys, the fact is, it is a reliable way to make some extra money online, if you have the time and are willing to put some effort into it. You could make a few hundred dollars a month or more. But, if you are looking for a way to get rich online, filling simple online surveys isn't gonna get you there. So, if you have realistic expectation of how much money you can make doing online surveys, you could say that online surveys are a reliable way of making money online.
