Are You Linkedin For Website Traffic
Looking for another way to drive traffic to your website
? You can benefit from another great networking method.
For those not in the know...follow my method:
I use the connections at LinkedIn for social marketing. It's a huge online network of people from around the world. I consider this my ultimate online Rolodex!
So how do I get traffic from LinkedIn? That's easy!
I already use the site for professional networking on a personal level, but you can also create a profile for your website as well. You just add your website link to the profile area! It's that easy!
I also use the groups section for connecting with people that have similar interests. It's another social media site you should take advantage of and I try to use the group discussions to help further my networking and marketing ability.
All Social media networks allow you to:
Find potential clients, service providers, field experts, and partners who come highly recommended
Be found for business opportunities
Search for great jobs
Discover inside connections that can help you land jobs and close deals
Post and distribute job listings
Find high-quality passive candidates
Get introduced to other professionals through the people you know
Have you heard the term "link juice"? Well, Google will index your profile, so if you have a link pointing to your website, then it should be picked up by Google. Hence, visitors will flock to your web site when they visit your profile and see that you have provided more information about your actual website, product or service.
Use all the networking and social medial methods you can, which can be a very effective way to drive traffic to your website. This is also known as "inbound marketing."
What Is Inbound Marketing?
Inbound Marketing is marketing method for getting found by customers, almost by accident. This is where all the social websites, or Web 2.0, as it's so popularly referred to, becomes essential.
So basically, while you are "socializing", you can also "soft-promote" your website in the process.
Instead of pounding your message into a crowd over and over again like a sledgehammer, this method will attract interested customers to your business or website like a magnet.
To succeed online you need to work SMARTER, not harder, and it shouldn't cost you an arm and a leg in the process.
As I always say, "if you're gonna be online, you might as well try to get paid for it"!
May your online time be prosperous!
