Are we getting Cheated by Tata Indicom
router. Have my laptop and wifi enabled Blackberry and Nokia Phone. I mainly intend to use wifi in my wireless devices.
Now, if i need to connect my blackberry and nokia phone, i need to turn on my laptop and do a web login and keep my laptop on 24 hours. This defeats the whole purpose of taking a broadband connection and using a wireless router.
On contacting the customer support they asked me to purchase static ip in order to remove the login page. I refuse to pay extra money for the static ip as
1. Im not using it for official purposes like conneting to office vpn which might require static ip

Tata indicom support has told me that they would contact me on this, but if i dont hear back from them, what steps can we take? Have other users in this forum faced similar problem?
