Lead Poisoning Hazard: Big Lots stores recalled 115,000 children's rings as they contained dangerous levels of lead.

Lamps: 2,600 Chinese made lamps that had faulty sockets were recalled by their buyers in Georgia. It was reported that the lamps were electrically defective.

Accessories: Jewelry sets were recalled by Kmart stores as they were found to contain high levels of lead.

Toy Batteries: 240,000 toy vehicles battery packs were recalled by JAKKS Pacific after there were reports of them melting or igniting.
