Are you Happy and Successful?
Are you Happy and Successful?
Are you Happy and Successful?
We all have three key main areas in our life, business, health and your relationships.
However they may not be working as effectively in conjunction with each other in the way that you would like, or works best to your advantage. When the balance is out you may suffer from stress, illness, upset or loneliness. Do you want that? Do you need that?
I guess you are a busy individual - right? Do you ever feel that life seems to be getting faster and busier with hardly enough time to fit everything in? You may be good at getting the results you want form one of these areas in work, health or relationships. Or you may be good at combining two areas well, but do you ever find that it is often at the expense of the third?
How often in today's world can you balance all three continuously so that they each have a positive knock on effect on the other? What is it costing you in time, money and happiness when your balance is less than ideal?
Below is an exercise you can do which will tell you what is working well for you and what you can improve on so that you can improve on your performance, well being and happiness if you wish:
Draw a circle. Segment in to 9. Split into 3 sections. Health, Business and Relationships. 3 segments for each Section. Health: Personal Growth, Diet and Fitness. Business: Job satisfaction, Money and Fun and Recreation. Relationships: Friends, Family, Partner/ Romance.
Directions: The nine sections represent the key areas in your life. Regarding the centre of the wheel as 0 and the outer edge 10. Rate your level of satisfaction with each of the areas in your life by drawing a straight or curved line joining up the spokes on either side of the section you are rating each time, nine times. Now you are looking at your own personal wheel.
So what did you learn about your current situation? Is it better or worse than you expected or realised?
Success in all you do is not about luck or lucky genes; it is about learning appropriate skills, then using them to create the life you want. Living a GREAT life is actually easier that living a complicated, confusing or mediocre life. Keep it simple. Keep it focused. Play by the rules and learn how to win the game of life.
Quote
"It is never too late to become the person you want to be."
George Elliot
By completing this exercise it will give you a clearer picture of the areas in your life you would most like to work on, the ones which are holding you back from your true potential. When we balance all the segments more evenly so that certain ones are not holding us down, life begins to flow more effortlessly for us.
This keeps negative stress to a minimum and conserves our energies for what matters most to us.
