All these unwanted substances are flushed out of the system through bowel movements. At the same time, being on a high fiber diet encourages regular elimination which in turn supports digestive health.

This cleansing function of fiber likewise promotes cardiovascular health because the removal of cholesterol promotes more efficient blood circulation. With the healthy flow of oxygen and nutrients to the heart, it can stay in good condition and be less susceptible to various types of disorders.
